Currently, illuminations are on at Hirono Golf Course Mae Station on the Kobe Electric Railway Ao Line.This is a project proposed by a student as part of a project commissioned by the Japan Sports Agency.
Last year's winter semester, "Lifelong Sports I", which was held at Miki Campus, was about learning and experiencing golf.Golf is one of the three major industries in Miki City, along with hardware and Yamada Nishiki.In the final report, "Specific measures to popularize golf among Miki citizens" were given as assignments, and students from Miki citizens said, "I didn't know that the Hirono Golf Club was one of the best in the world until I learned about it in class. If the citizens of Miki rediscovered it, it would be an opportunity for golf culture to take root.”This is the reason why this project started.In realizing the project, there was cooperation from industry-government-academia collaboration such as Kobe Electric Railway, the golf course, and the Miki City Golf Town Promotion Section.
From December 12, posters explaining the history of the Hirono Golf Club and Kobe Electric Railway have been displayed in the station building.You can feel the long history.We also prepared a panel for Instagram, and the students who visited for service learning also took a commemorative photo using the panel.
