Students from Hyogo Prefectural Nishiwaki High School visited the school with the theme of "Your Future"

On December 12, 21 Hyogo Prefectural Nishiwaki High School 1st and 2nd year students who aim to enter the medical field in the future visited our university (Miki Campus).

Mr. Endo and Mr. Honda, deans of the Faculty of Health Sciences, talked about a wide range of topics, such as "the reward of wanting to be a nurse, the significance of learning nursing at a four-year university, and what I want you to experience in high school." The students listened with great interest.

After that, students who have graduated from Nishiwaki High School and are aiming to become nurses at our university gave messages and interviews with current students. I spoke based on my experience.High school students actively asked questions and had two-way exchanges.Some of the students said that they were able to imagine the future from the senior college students chasing their dreams, and I felt that what we wanted to say was clearly conveyed.

After taking a break, they experienced a class in the field of midwifery, which is popular among high school students and nursing students.In addition to lectures and group work by Professor Masuko Saito, the participants deepened their learning through hands-on experiences such as holding a baby, pregnant women, and the birth of life in the Nursing Practice Building.
