In the global tourism industry, there are various associations and organizations in the tourism industry, including UNWTO (World Tourism Organization).Among them, SKAL International Club, headquartered in Spain, is a private tourism organization with 97 active clubs in 318 countries around the world. SKAL International Japan has three offices in Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya.There, members of VIP managers in the tourism industry (airlines, airports, railways, hotels, travel agencies, etc.) gather to exchange information on tourism, research companies, and contribute to society every month.
SKAL Osaka Club has a program to invite guests in July and December.Our university invited selected students to participate in these two events.Through interaction with VIPs and managers in the tourism industry, participating students from our university will also have opportunities to present their future vision and their own appeal.In addition, this international club has many foreign-affiliated hotels and foreign entrepreneurs, so every monthly meeting is held in English.
At the Christmas party in December 2021, two international students from China and Vietnam participated in Chinese clothes and ao dai.At the end of the party, there is a donation from each member, and there is a luxurious lottery where you can win accommodation tickets, dinner tickets, airline tickets, branded products, etc. at ultra-luxury hotels.This time, Chinese students from our university won a suite room for two and a dinner ticket at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, where the Christmas party was held.I think I was very lucky.
