The 14th Data Business Creation Contest (https://dmc-lab.sfc.keio.ac.jp/dig14/), two students from the Department of Sociology participated.
The theme this time is "From Japan! A new lifestyle using content data."We discussed ideas, collected and analyzed data to create slides, and created them.
There were some course corrections, but the finished slides are something that I can't believe it's the first time, and I'm looking forward to the results of the first selection.

● Impressions after participating Mr. Miyake
I participated in the 14th Data Business Creation Contest as a midway participant.
In the 14th issue, we will send from Japan! At first, I couldn't imagine what I would do with the theme of creating a new lifestyle using content data. However, after looking at the distributed Excel data and materials used in the Data Business Creation Contest (commonly known as Dig), I understood the meaning of the theme. In Dig, I had a lot of data with lots of missing values instead of zero missing values like I had in basic statistics class.
In this way, I gained experience and strength by collecting actual data that I could not experience in the class, and it was a very good experience. Also, I wanted to participate in the next data business creation contest.
● Impressions after participating Mr. Yamanaka
It was my first experience to analyze using actual data and come up with a proposal, so I found it difficult. At first, I was alone, but halfway through, I made friends, which was very reassuring.I was able to reconfirm the importance of colleagues who do something jointly.I would like to express my gratitude to him.I also received a lot of advice from my teachers.thank you very much.
