Our university has a system called SA to support teachers to facilitate lectures.Originally, the purpose of SAs was to assist in lectures, but I will introduce some examples of SA activities that have developed into regional contributions.
"Antagata Dokosa" has a distinctive rhythm and lyrics, and everyone has heard it at least once.In the Physical Education Instruction II class, we use it as a teaching material for physical exercise that allows you to create original works in a short group activity. As a result of my learning, I was trying to shoot a video and use it for teaching students next year. (Hereafter, student retrospective)
"Where are you?" Kumamoto Children
When I thought, "What can I do?", I thought, "Let's deliver fun classes from Kansai to the children and give them a smile."Then, I proposed an exchange project to my friends who have been on good terms since I was in the first grade, and seven of them gathered.
First of all, we had a discussion with the principal of the exchange destination about how to proceed with the class, and we were able to hear about the children and the regional characteristics of Yatsushiro City.I was able to reaffirm that the teachers who actually work in the field are creating classes with consideration for the children and what they want them to learn.
Using the song "Antagata Dokosa", I thought about interaction in body building exercises. While we were thinking about the lesson plan, there were many times when we had different opinions due to differences in the sense of values and direction of the lesson. bottom.
While thinking about the instruction plan, I was able to find a good part of my friend that I didn't usually see.Since each of them has experienced practical training, etc., we were able to discuss the contents of the activities from a professional point of view, and I was very impressed. We used our free time in class and after school to practice our “Antagata Dokosa” dance practice and class progression practice before the actual performance.
During the actual performance, there were a lot of unexpected things, such as being too nervous and having a stiff smile, or having a bad mic. When we were nervous, we were able to talk to each other. Before starting this project, I had no experience of elementary school training myself, so I had a strong feeling of anxiety, such as "Can I really do it?" and "Will the children enjoy it?" I enjoyed working on the class as much as I did.
In ice-breaking, I was able to enjoy playing the "imitate game" with the children by increasing my gestures. And I was very happy that there was a group that used the contents of the ice breaking in the dance of "Anta gata where".With the hope that the children's creative activities will go well, I sent an edited video of "Where are you?" by first-year students.
I was very happy to see the children working hard in class while referring to the video I sent them during the creative dance performance of "Where are you?"We made the announcement, but since it's the December season, when we danced in Santa and reindeer costumes, the children noticed right away, making it all the more exciting.
Finally, we watched the children's dance (Antagata Dokosa). We thought, ``This content might be difficult for third-year students,'' or ``It might not be enough time for a creative dance,'' but we were surprised at how well it turned out.
Before working on the project, I was full of anxiety and had a lot of thoughts such as "Can I teach properly?" I'm glad that I was able to do it without giving up, thinking about "getting" first. And I was able to take full advantage of the results of practice and connect it to my confidence.I would like to make use of this experience in my daily classes and practical training.
