International Exchange/Overseas Program

An online global study was conducted on the theme of the Japanese language department of Xi'an Foreign Affairs College in the ancient city of Xi'an, one of China's leading tourist destinations, and tourism culture and cultural heritage.Students from Xi'an College of Foreign Affairs and our university researched the tourism culture and cultural heritage of their respective countries and gave online presentations in Japanese.The students from both countries were able to give concrete explanations from a global perspective on the actual situation of tourism and the protection and promotion of cultural heritage in Japan and China, based on the situation in China, where traditions are being revived.After the presentation, we asked each other questions and had a lively exchange.

In this program, we were able to hear from a travel guide who acts as a bridge between Chinese and Chinese tourists in Xi'an.Overall, the program has aimed to become familiar with the situation of tourism and cultural heritage in Japan and China, as well as to look at tourism broadly from the diverse perspectives of tourists, the tourism industry and local residents.
