Global Study I (China/Winter 2021 Qingdao) Activity Report
In the GS Qingdao program, students from our university and students from our partner university in China, Qingdao Binhai College, formed a collaborative team to investigate cashless payments in both Japan and China, and to consider what the future cashless economy should look like. We have implemented the initiative.Due to the impact of the corona crisis, group activities between the two countries will be in the form of (1) dividing the group into two groups, China and Japan, and conducting research activities, and (2) communicating and coordinating in an online environment. proceeded.
At the result presentation meeting, which is the summary of the group activities, four groups each presented "Issues to be addressed by companies for the spread of cashless payments," "Improvement of convenience through cashless payments in university cafeterias," and "Cashless payment for children." Presentations were given on the themes of "Anxiety about Cashless Security and Consideration of Education Methods" and "Anxiety and Countermeasures against Cashless Fraud", and a lively discussion was held by all participants.
After the group collaboration between Japan and China, the students participating in this program will participate in the GS debriefing session held on Saturday, May 5th as a culmination of their post-learning, and the representative group will give a presentation on their participation report. A group with the theme of "Cashless Security Concerns and Examination of Educational Methods for Children" was selected as a representative from four groups, and gave a presentation that was further brushed up from the results presentation.As a group of students from the Faculty of Education, we will link cashless education to children's education, focusing on the "necessity of cashless education for children in the future" and "research into lesson design and teaching material development in the future."
