The 63rd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Maternal Health will be held on September 2022-9, 9 at the Kobe International Conference Center, titled [Women, Children, Family Health and SDGs].The 63rd meeting will be held face-to-face as Meet Kobe.
The Society held its first academic meeting in 1959 (Showa 34). Since then, we advocate team medical care through multi-professional collaboration, and the society has 1 members, including doctors, nurses (midwives, public health nurses, nurses), nutritionists, dentists, and nursery teachers. While inheriting the philosophy from the time of its establishment, we have been sharing knowledge on an international scale and collaborating face-to-face while keeping an eye on social changes.
On the other hand, the 2015 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which were decided at the United Nations Summit in September 9, were presented. After that, in Japan, it was announced as "SDGs Action Plan 17".It has been decided to accelerate the deployment of Japan's SDGs model. One of them is "Empowerment of the next generation and women as bearers of SDGs".It is consistent with the philosophy of this society to support the health of women, children, and families.
The word "new normal" has been born after experiencing infection control by the new coronavirus, which does not return to normal even after convergence.I would like to take this opportunity to think about the health of new women, children, and families, and make it an academic meeting to think about how to support it.
