This is Hamana, the president of the university.As many of you may have heard, the 7th wave of the novel coronavirus infection has arrived, and the number of infected people has reached a record high in various places almost every day.

In Hyogo Prefecture today, 8,169 peopleThe number of newly infected people is counted, and the number of people nationwide has exceeded 1 per day, which is the highest ever.Nationwide, the medical system is facing a crisis.

At our university, the number of positive cases exceeded 30 this week, and the number of people on standby at home exceeded 200, and we are concerned about further expansion.

For students, it is no exaggeration to say that physical condition management is more important than usual as it is time for final reports and exams.

A letter of request has also been received from Hyogo Prefecture, and in order to prevent the spread of infection not only to you, but also to your friends, family, and others around you, and to ensure that the end of the semester ends safely and that you can enter the summer vacation, please do the following again. I urge you to do so.

  1. Actively vaccinate. (especially those who have not yet received the third vaccination)
  2. Please thoroughly implement basic infection prevention measures (wearing a mask indoors, disinfecting hands, avoiding the three Cs, etc.).
  3. Please refrain from eating out, traveling, returning home, participating in leisure activities, etc. without thoroughly implementing infection prevention measures.
