[G Komi Department] English Communication Students Look Forward to Their Global Research Program in Danang, Vietnam

Five English Communication Department students will travel to Danang Vietnam over the coming weeks to begin their Global Research program. In line with KUISs emphasis on experiential learning, students will be expected to conduct an independent study project while also taking subject coursework in English as well as classes teaching Vietnamese.

This fall will also be the first year that KUISs students will travel to Vietnam. With the development of effective vaccines and Vietnam's successful pandemic prevention policies, it is now possible for KUISs students to study there with minimal risk.

Students will study at the University of Danang, a leading university located in Vietnam's 3rd largest metropolis at the center of the nation. As the largest and most respected University in the region, KUISs students will learn about this region's dynamic culture and economy first-hand. Danang has long been known for its natural beauty, pristine environment and historic culture; it is close to several UNESCO world heritage sitesMore recently, it has also become known for its booming economy and international investment activities. For Department of English Communication students interested in international business and sustainable development, it is a study abroad destination that is difficult to surpass!
