In high school, I don't think there are many opportunities to give presentations or classes to improve presentation skills. Most of the participating high school students raised their hands when asked if they were good at giving presentations.
At first, most people were reading the manuscript when introducing schools, departments, facilities, etc., and they were not able to use gestures or look in front of them.
However, as a result of lectures on the importance of non-verbal communication such as body language from the perspective of psychology, and the fact that a presentation is not just to convey information, I learned how to stop holding a manuscript, look forward, and speak in a way that arouses interest. Compared to before the lecture, they were able to improve their presentation skills.
The students who participated felt a positive response to their improved presentation skills, and felt lively after the event.
I'm looking forward to the presentation at the actual open school.
At Kansai University of International Studies, there are many opportunities for presentations, and the Department of Psychology offers classes to improve presentation skills. It is important to improve presentation skills so that you can effectively communicate your thoughts and results, and presentation skills are "skills" and "techniques" that can be improved.Would you like to improve your presentation skills too?
