At Kansai University of International Studies, where “disaster prevention” education is the basic education of the entire university, we actively support students so that they can participate in “disaster prevention and mitigation” activities in the region.
We held discussions with the Amagasaki City Fire Department to expand the activities of the students in the community.2022A certain number of students from our university will be accepted for the training course of "first aid spreader" who will be able to spread "lifesaving treatment" from this year.
If you attend the course and are certified as a "first aid spreader", you will be able to hold a "lifesaving treatment" course in your community or workplace. Participation in activities to disseminate "lifesaving measures" will greatly affect the self-confidence and growth of students as well as the improvement of disaster prevention capabilities in the community.
Amagasaki City Fire Department accepted students for the “First Aid Extension Staff” training course, and gave a lecture on “Preventive First Aid” at the Amagasaki Campus in the “Regional Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Theory” class scheduled to be held in the winter term. I plan to do so.
