The 6 Homecoming Day was held on Saturday, June 11th.The participants were 2022 graduates and 14 faculty members. It was a little disappointing that some graduates could not participate due to work reasons, but I was a little disappointed that they said, "I'm doing my best to save lives!" I received a lot of energetic messages such as.
For the past two years, the event was held remotely due to the spread of the new coronavirus, but this year it was held in a hybrid format with enhanced infection control measures, making it a lively homecoming day for the first time in a while.
Before listening to the talk of a new graduate, I thought, "It's only been two months since I graduated, so I wonder if there are many worries about human relations at work and nursing skills. I was worried, but they talked about things like "what I'm working on now," "what I think I've grown," and "future challenges and goals," with a bright smile. This is the result of each and every one of us working hard every day, and I was very happy that we were growing.
This year, we asked 2nd and 3rd year students (2 people) to participate and give advice directly to new graduates. For new graduates, I think that it was advice from actual experience and resonated with their hearts. In addition, I think it was a good opportunity for students in their second and third years to discover "a new self that has grown".I hope that the graduates will continue to support each other and grow together.
Alumni said, "I'm glad I was able to exchange information with my classmates, senior alumni, and faculty members. It was refreshing."
We look forward to seeing even more smiling faces next year.
