An event was held on September 9th (Friday) at Kobe Municipal Nagata Public Hall, where the students learned about special fraud and prevention methods to the elderly. In front of 16 elderly people, 62 psychology students performed a skit to warn them, saying things like, ``Telephone talk, talk about money, that's a scam.''

As part of the "Service Learning" program, which deepens learning through social contribution activities, the students conduct their own research on special fraud damage and receive lectures from the chief of charge at the Nagata Police Station, etc., for about a month. I have been preparing for it.
In the skit, three tactics, "It's me", "fictitious billing fraud", and "refund fraud" were taken up, and the culprit and victim were divided into the roles of the culprit and the victim while using the screen to recreate the tactics of the culprit who manipulated ATM buttons by mistake. The contents were easy to understand for the elderly, with some ingenuity.
In the "It's me fraud" case, he introduced a case where he pretended to be his grandson and said, "I caused a traffic accident and injured myself. I need a settlement. My phone number has changed."I told them about crime prevention points such as using answering machines and calling back the original phone number.
In the "fictitious fee billing fraud," which pretends to withhold pension payments due to delinquency in residence tax, "I was notified of delinquency by postcard. If I do not pay by the end of the day, I will not be able to receive my pension." Please consult your family before moving."
In the "refund fraud", the criminal group used skillful storytelling to lure the victim to an unmanned ATM and defrauded him of 49 yen by pretending to be a "reference number."
Finally, he called out, "We are taking measures such as masks and disinfection against the danger of corona, but let's take measures with a sense of crisis about special frauds."
Local residents commented, "The language was easy to hear and the images were included, making it easy to understand."
In addition, after the skit presentation, the teacher in charge gave a lecture on special fraud, which is becoming more frequent and sophisticated, and gave a lecture on security precautions based on actual cases.
