XNUMX) What made you decide to take the "TOEIC® Preparation Course"?
Up until high school, I had time to study English, such as taking Eiken exams, but after entering university, I didn't have many opportunities to concentrate on studying English. At that time, I learned about Yokoyama-sensei's "TOEIC® preparation course".
XNUMX) Please tell us about the good points of the “TOEIC® Preparation Course”.
While there were many things we had forgotten, such as vocabulary and grammar, Professor Yokoyama carefully taught us from the basics, checking our understanding as we progressed. For this reason, I was able to reconfirm things I had forgotten, and there were many things that I thought I had vaguely understood up until now, but I was able to understand them for the first time with Mr. Yokoyama's explanation.
It was my first time taking a TOEIC test, so I had no idea about the format or content, but Professor Yokoyama taught me a lot about the structure of the TOEIC, where to score, and which questions were difficult. As a result, my anxiety about challenging TOEIC faded away. Also, I was able to get used to the format as I took the course because I was taught many tips and points to solve quickly for each problem.
XNUMX) Please tell us about your thoughts on how your score on the TOEIC®IP test improved significantly in such a short period of time, and what you devised for the second test.
I myself still can't believe that my score went up because I think it was mostly luck, but the reason I'm stronger than before is definitely thanks to Mr. Yokoyama's "TOEIC® Preparation Course". .Regarding the point I devised for the second exam, I did not buy reference books and study by myself. I was just reviewing what it was.Through the lectures, I feel that my understanding of English has deepened.
4) How do you feel your English has improved before and after taking the course?
Through the "TOEIC® Preparation Course," I was able to feel more familiar with English than before the course. In addition, I think that I have acquired the ability to listen to the important parts because I was taught points such as where I should pay attention to when listening.I feel that my overall English ability has improved compared to before the course because I was taught the knowledge necessary for studying English, such as vocabulary and grammar, as well as frequent questions specific to TOEIC, in each class.
XNUMX) Please give a message to the lecturer, Mr. Yokoyama.
After entering university, I was a little distant from English, but by taking Professor Yokoyama's "TOEIC® Preparation Course", I was able to rediscover the fun of English and the joy of studying.Of all the lectures I've taken so far, Professor Yokoyama's explanations are really easy to understand. Thank you very much for opening the "TOEIC® preparation course" for her.
6) Please tell us about what you would like to challenge in your future university life and your dreams for the future.
In the future, I would like to become a wonderful teacher who can have a positive influence on children, just like the teachers who taught me when I was in elementary school. To that end, in addition to my usual university life (study), I would like to continue to value the activities and initiatives of the university's open campus staff and school supporters.
