About changes in measures against infectious diseases on campus (students)
Atsushi Hamana, President and Director of Crisis Management Headquarters
This is Hamana, the president of the university. The fall semester has just started and I am sure you are having a busy day.
For about two and a half years since December 2019, measures against the novel coronavirus have continued to be extremely inconvenient, including various measures to prevent the spread of the disease and restrictions on movement. I was able to start face-to-face classes in the fall semester.
Nationwide, the peak of the 7th wave has passed, and the response policies of the government and local governments have changed significantly, such as changing the grasp of all cases.
In response to this situation, our university will also change the infectious disease countermeasures that we have taken so far as follows from October 10th.
However, the new corona infection has not converged. In the current corona infectious disease, the importance of measures against aerosol infection (airborne infection) has been pointed out, in addition to droplet infection. It's also the time of the flu epidemic, not just corona infections.
While strengthening these measures, I hope that we will continue to pay close attention to the following items and lead a healthy, safe and secure student life together.
Changes to measures against infectious diseases
1. Use of COCOA
We have asked everyone to use COCOA to understand the possibility of contact with positive people, but due to the review of the notification of all positive people, COCOA is scheduled to stop functioning by the end of the year. ,Stop confirming ownership of the app international success.
2. About the card reader when entering the campus
Until now, in order to keep track of who is entering the campus, we had students pass their student ID cards through a card reader when entering the campus.Cancels reading by the card reader.
3. Changes to eating and drinking rules at school
About eating and drinking at schoolfollowingThe outline is as follows.
⑴ Remove the acrylic board in use in the cafeteria.
In the cafeteria, windows on two walls are opened for ventilation.Remove the installed acrylic plateand promote ventilation.
In addition, when using the table as before, reduce the number of seats so as not to face each other,The rules of "1 people or less per table" and "silent eating rules" will continue.
⑵ Eating and drinking in the classroom will be lifted.
Eating and drinking is permitted under the condition that people are allowed to eat and drink in silence, keeping a distance of at least 1m between people to avoid crowding. For ventilation, open windows on two sides, but if there is only one window, open the door or open both sides of the window.
(XNUMX) Review of meal provision rules at events
We will be able to provide meals on the condition that we follow the rules of hand disinfection, small groups (up to 1 people per table), and silent eating.(Advance application is required for event implementation)
4. Thorough ventilation for winter
As a measure to prevent infection, ventilation is important, so we will continue to thoroughly ventilate during classes without closing the doors.Open windows for ventilation after classplease do.
5. Elevator usage (review of number limit)
Currently, there are no clusters on campus, soChanged to the method before the corona disaster international success.
6. About the temperature measurement implementation system when entering the campus
Please note that the temperature measurement system when entering each campus will be changed as follows, such as resuming entry from the 3rd floor of the Amagasaki Campus.
1. Thorough ventilation in closed spaces such as classrooms and cafeterias
As a measure to prevent infection, ventilation is important, so keep classrooms and cafeterias in use closed and ensure thorough ventilation.again,After class is over, open the windows for ventilation.
2. Changes to eating and drinking rules on campus
(XNUMX) Removal of acrylic boards in use in the cafeteria
The route of new coronavirus infection is droplet infection, contact infection, and airborne infection.Masks are effective measures against droplet infection, alcohol disinfection is effective against contact infection, and ventilation is effective against airborne infection.Ventilation is important as a countermeasure against airborne infections, and windows on two walls are opened for ventilation. If you are in a situation that impedes airflow, currentlyRemove the installed acrylic boardand give priority to ventilation.
Keeping distance between people is also an effective preventive measure, so when using a table, reduce the number of seats so that they are not facing each other. The "no more than 1 people per table" and "silent meal rule" advocated by the national government and Hyogo Prefecture will continue to be enforced.
(XNUMX) Ban on eating and drinking in the classroom
Eating and drinking is allowed on the condition that people keep a distance of 1m or more to avoid crowding, and eat in silence. In addition, ventilation is performed by opening windows on two sides, but if there is only one window, open the door, but open both sides of the window.
(XNUMX) Review of meal provision rules at events
It is possible to provide meals on the condition that the rules of hand disinfection, small groups (up to 1 people per table), and silent eating are observed.(In the case of implementation, prior permission application is required)
3. The following changes will be made to the temperature measurement system when entering each campus.
| Response after change | |
| Common | 1) Remove the card reader to keep track of who is entering the campus, and suspend the confirmation of COCOA registration. 2) Temperature measurement and hand disinfection will continue when entering the campus. 3) Display posters for temperature measurement, hand disinfection, and mask wearing. 4) When security guards and staff of the Silver Human Resources Center are working, temperature checks will continue. 5) Each person will voluntarily take their temperature when there is no security guard (in principle, self-measurement of temperature). |

|
| Miki Campus | (XNUMX) Change the response when entering the campus as follows.
