On November 11, Kansai University of International Studies and Minamiawaji City concluded a cooperation agreement in the field of tourism promotion and regional revitalization.This is the fifth collaboration agreement that our university has concluded with a local government, following Hyogo Prefecture, Miki City, Amagasaki City, and Tamba City.
So far, our university has been conducting various projects with Minamiawaji City as our field, but we will continue to cooperate with each other in the fields related to tourism promotion and regional revitalization in Minamiawaji City, share our strengths, We decided to conclude an agreement in order to solve problems in the region, exchange and utilize mutual human and intellectual resources, and work towards the continuous development of both parties.
The signing ceremony was held at Minamiawaji City Hall.
Mayor Morimoto said, "I have high expectations for the knowledge of the university and the new sensibilities of the students. I want the students to feel the charm and future potential of the region, and from among them, people who can play an active role in the tourism industry of Minamiawaji will appear.
