Every year, the Kobe Korean Education Institute (a subsidiary of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Korea) holds the “College Student Korean Language Competition”.
The theme of the competition was "memories" by writing an essay of 800 characters or more in Korean. In this 10th competition, more than 25 students from other universities participated, and four from our university (Mr. Hino, 4rd year of the tourism department, Mr. Morisada, 3nd year, Mr. Oshiro, and Mr. Ishii, 2rd year of the Department of Psychology) participated. Did.These four students are students who learn Korean in the weekly center program "Let's Learn Korean".

The students did not have the confidence to participate in the competition, but they decided that their goal was to have a good experience, and they concentrated on the challenge. The competition was held from 11:5 pm to 2:3 pm on November 4th, and despite the tension, the four students managed to complete the essay in Korean. As a result, I was able to receive an encouragement award. As a certificate and supplementary prize3,000I also got a yen book card. After the tournament, we passed in front of the Korean Consulate General in Kobe and ate Korean food, bibimbap.
The students said that they wanted to try again next year because they felt that they had mastered the Korean language through this opportunity. All right, let's go out to eat bibimbap again next year after the tournament!
Thank you for your hard work, everyone.
