Our university exhibited a booth at the VR venue at the "12 Kobe Gathering" held on Monday, December 12th.
This event is an opportunity to publicize major projects and the attractions of Kobe to people in the political, economic and governmental circles who are active in Tokyo and who have connections with Kobe, as an opportunity to raise interest in Kobe. It is hosted by the Kobe City Council and the Kobe Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
This year, the face-to-face event was held in Tokyo for the first time in three years, and it was a hybrid event that fused with the VR venue, with a total of about 360 participants.
Our university exhibited at the "Creation of Attractive Towns" sub-venue, and introduced initiatives based on the three perspectives of "globalization, safety, and management," which are the axes of learning at our university, as well as the "Project to Strengthen the Global Expansion of Universities of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology." It was an opportunity to introduce future developments and convey the unique appeal of our university.
In order to realize Kobe 2025 Vision, "a city that contributes to globalization nurtured by the sea and mountains," Kobe University and Kobe City will create a sustainable and unique community where each citizen can experience "well-being" and where young people can shine and play an active role. We will build cooperative relationships for the formation and development of society.
