Kansai University of International Studies has decided to conclude a comprehensive partnership agreement with the city of Kobe. On December 12 (Friday), Mayor Kizo Hisamoto and KU President/President Atsushi Hamana attended the signing ceremony at Kobe City Hall. Did.

This agreement aims to realize “well-being” in which each and every Kobe citizen is safe, secure, spiritually enriched and happy by utilizing the results of the collaborative projects that both Kansai International University and Kobe City have cultivated so far. It was concluded with the aim of forming a sustainable and unique local community where the young people who will be responsible for the future of Kobe can shine and play an active role.

In order to achieve this purpose, we will cooperate with each other on the following items.

  1. Human resource development through student participation in community activities
  2. Matters related to regional revitalization utilizing university facilities and research/educational capabilities
  3. Matters concerning the promotion of international exchange, including the active participation of international students
  4. Things related to the dissemination of university city Kobe
  5. Matters related to Kobe City's industry-academia-government co-creation efforts aimed at solving regional issues
  6. Other matters related to matters necessary to achieve the purpose of the preamble
