Ms. BOLDBAATAR BUYANBAYAR, an international student from Mongolia, successfully completed her 4-week elementary school teaching practice at Amagasaki Municipal Elementary School. We interviewed Mr. Boyan who finished his practical training.

Thank you for the 4 weeks of teaching practice. How was your teaching practice?

It was fun anyway.I woke up at 6 in the morning during the practical training, but it didn't bother me at all.I have a habit of going to bed early and waking up early.Four weeks passed in a blink of an eye.

The teachers at the training school welcomed me warmly and kindly.I was encouraged by the principal's words, "It's wonderful to see international students doing teaching practice at a Japanese elementary school. Let's do our best." I was put in charge of Class 2 of the 1nd year. Not only the class teacher, but also the other class teachers taught me enthusiastically.

In the research class, we had a class on "Kanji no Okurigana" in Japanese. There is no Chinese character in Mongolia.I read the textbook and tried to make my own instruction plan.I had the teacher in charge take a look at it, and I gave it a class.

I had a hard time because my child didn't understand. There was a lack of explanation about "Kanji no Okurigana".I went to teach each child who didn't understand.I wonder if the children were nervous because many teachers came to see the research class.I think there were fewer children who raised their hands than usual.

I also took a class on international understanding.Mongolian houses are called gers, and when I told them about it, they asked me a lot of questions.I showed him a picture of horses and cows grazing in the grasslands, but instead of focusing on the horses and cows, I was more interested in the bright red sunset of Mongolia. The Mongolian sunset is certainly beautiful.Children have learned to be interested in things that are different from their own ideas.

Why did you decide to obtain a Japanese teacher's license in the first place? Also, please tell us what you are thinking about after graduation.

I want to work at a Japanese school.I wanted to be a middle school and high school teacher. However, while I was involved with small children through internships and nursing care experiences, I thought that elementary school might be suitable for me.I came to think that I wanted to work with elementary school students. After doing practical training at an elementary school, I realized that teaching at a Japanese elementary school would be difficult due to my lack of understanding of the Japanese language. However, I would like to challenge the teacher employment examination.I would like to work at a Japanese elementary school, even if it's just a temporary teacher.

After working at a Japanese school for a few years, I returned to Mongolia, and although it is not a school, I would like to build a facility centered on "play" where I can listen to children's worries and teach them about their studies. increase.I don't know if I can...I would love to make one.

Thank you Mr. Boyan.Get an elementary school teacher's license and work as a teacher at a Japanese elementary school!
