Happy new year.I hope you all had a peaceful New Year's Eve and welcomed the New Year with a new heart.
Looking at the rest of the world, the war in Ukraine continues regardless of the New Year holidays, and partly because of that, the world economy continues to be in turmoil, and prices continue to rise.I hope everyone has a great year.
Classes have resumed, but the number of infected people is on the rise again, and it is unpredictable. In addition, influenza epidemics have become more prominent.Even on campus, the number of people contracting these two infectious diseases has been increasing since the beginning of the year.
For all of you, the coming season will be an important time for you to submit graduation theses, final reports and exams towards the end of the school year. Therefore, please pay close attention to the following points.
- In addition to taking measures against infectious diseases such as wearing a mask, disinfecting hands, and gargling after going out, pay attention to physical condition management such as getting enough sleep.
- If corona infection or influenza infection is suspected, consult a medical institution and follow their instructions. In the event of infection, try to rest at home, etc., contact the public health room, follow the instructions of the Infectious Diseases Committee and the educational affairs department, and promptly take procedures such as official absence after recovery (detailed procedures etc. See notice from the Infectious Diseases Commission).
- The deadline for vaccination against corona infections is March 5, 3. (There is a possibility that a fee will be charged in the future.) It is desirable to receive the necessary vaccinations as soon as possible.
In order to protect your health and the health of those around you, let's take sufficient measures against infectious diseases and get through the important period of the end of the semester.
