Liu Zhuang will give a lecture at the Ritsumeikan University Saturday course on March 3th.
This lecture is an interim report on the progress of the joint research "Mothers of Modern Japanese Intellectuals: The Mothers of Masao Maruyama, Shuichi Kato, and Shunsuke Tsurumi," which received a research grant from the Suntory Foundation for "Opening Up the Future of Learning." I will focus on Maruyama's mother, Sei and Kato's mother, Oriko.
