ACP

We have campuses in Asian countriesACP (Asian Cooperative Program)Students from member universities came to Japan, and from February 2, the "ACP International Field Study Program" began, together with students from APU, to learn about various initiatives related to "natural disasters and safety and security" in Japan. The ACP International Field Study Program is held twice a year (once at our university and once at ACP member universities in Southeast Asia), and this year marks the 3th time.

A total of 19 students from Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam showed no signs of fatigue from their trip, and enthusiastically gathered at Kobe Yamate Campus to work on the first workshop.

Over the course of 10 days, the students received lectures from experts and conducted fieldwork in many places, including the Hyogo Earthquake Memorial 21st Century Research Institute and the Nagata Ward Earthquake Reconstruction Area in Kobe City. Presentations to present the results will be given in groups that include not only international students but also Japanese students from our university.

Furthermore, in order for students from overseas to experience Japanese culture, we are planning a field trip to Kyoto and a homestay with a Japanese family.
