Global Study I (Bhutan/Winter 2022) Activity Report                                                      

The purpose of this program is to explore what "happiness" means to us through exchanges with people in Bhutan and interview surveys, and to obtain hints for living happily in Japan today.

We are pleased to welcome a Bhutanese expert to the Kobe Yamate Campus.3We invited the names of the researchers and held lectures and talks. (Face-to-face and online simultaneous) Mr. Tsuji, representative of the Tsuji Business Support Office, from his experience of conducting friendship activities with Bhutan as a former honorary consul of the Royal Bhutan Consulate in Osaka, Mr. Ichino, chairman of the Kobe Bhutan Friendship Association Based on his experience of staying in Bhutan, he talked about "People's Sense of Happiness Seen from International Exchange between Japan and Bhutan."

Lastly, Mr. Katayama, the principal of a private school in Bhutan, Perkir School, participated online, and based on "the current situation in the educational scene in Bhutan and the latest information in Bhutan", "the people of Bhutan"Well being” was talked about.

Looking back on the valuable stories we heard this time, we will prepare for the next online exchange meeting with high school students from Perkir School in Bhutan.
