Ms. Salsabila from the Department of Business Administration won XNUMXnd place in the Japanese speech contest held at Sophia University.

Mr. Ilham of the Department of English Communication at our university won the Excellence Award in this contest last year as well.

International students studying at various universities across Japan participate in this speech contest and talk about their experiences and dreams.

Salsabila says,10With the theme of "me after a year",

In the future, I want to spread coffee from a village in my home country, Indonesia, to the world.

I talked about what I am doing now to become a businessman for that purpose.

I want to become a businessman and contribute to activities that help the poor people of the world.

I don't need a luxurious house or car, but I have a strong desire to build a happy home with my family.

I think the secret to winning the award was that I was able to communicate a clear career goal and what I was doing specifically to achieve it.

The fact that I rewrote the speech manuscript many times and practiced it many times was also a big factor.

From now on, I want you to walk steadily step by step toward your envisioned self 10 years from now.
