Coming from Vietnam, a country with little money, I had to pay my school fees by working part-time.After entering university, the university's "Asia Pacific Scholarship", Hyogo Prefecture's Privately Financed International Student Scholarship (Emerging Asian Countries), and the Japan Student Services Organization's Corona Special Recruitment Lump-sum Grant help make life easier and study. ② Mr. Han (from China, 4th year student in the Department of Human Psychology, School of Human Sciences) enrolled in our university to learn about disaster prevention and obtained a disaster prevention specialist qualification
〇Reasons for choosing Kansai University of International Studies
After seeing the 2008 Sichuan earthquake in China and the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake, my heart ached.I was interested in disaster prevention even before I entered the school, and I was thinking about what I could do to reduce the damage.I chose Kansai International University because I could study psychology and disaster prevention.
〇 Good learning environment
Before entering university, I went to a Japanese language school in Tokyo., I was not good at many people. The Kobe Yamate Campus is located in the center of Kobe, which is a moderately sized and livable city.Kansai University of International Studies is a small university where each student is taken care of.I think that the support for international students is generous and adequate. For example, university scholarships reduced my tuition fees, which allowed me to concentrate on my studies as I had to work less.
〇Variety of experiential learning
In the psychology training class, I actually went to various medical institutions in Japan and experienced the atmosphere of Japanese medical institutions and how they examine patients, and learned a lot. Also, in Ms. Kamigaki's class, not only did she write down what she learned at the end of the class, but also after each class, I wrote down what I learned, which I think helped me to solidify my knowledge. She likes animals, so she has fond memories of taking care of horses at Horseland Park in Miki City as part of an experiential learning program called service learning.
〇Deepen disaster prevention studies
When I was in school, I wanted to see how much I could use the knowledge I learned at university, so I took the disaster prevention specialist exam.I was happy to be able to pass the exam without incident and to confirm that my knowledge had taken hold. After graduating, I plan to go on to graduate school and learn how to develop disaster prevention using smartphones. After graduating from graduate school, I would like to find a job in Japan and make efforts to eliminate disasters as much as possible.
4) I received multiple scholarships and was able to enjoy a relaxed student life. Tran (from Vietnam, XNUMXth year, Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Business Administration)
〇 Teachers and environment friendly to international students
What I learned in university classes was management, so I was able to acquire knowledge of finance, marketing, and general economics. The teachers were very kind and taught foreign students in easy Japanese, and if I had any questions about assignments or reports, they were always available to answer questions even outside of class. One of the good things about choosing Kansai International University is the university's scholarship system. As my grades improved, the amount I received increased, which was very helpful.

Kansai Tourism Bureau and major Vietnamese companiesITGo to the Japanese branch office of a company for an internship,PRI was able to learn about how to work, advertising, and sales work.In particular, Ms. Lee is Visit Japan's tourism ambassador. She has created many internship opportunities through her teacher's network. After graduating, she will work at a company that took care of her during her internship. Thank you very much for 4 years.
