Ms. Fajar Afurilia Wayuninchias, an exchange student from our university (from Indonesia, currently studying in the Department of Global Communication, Faculty of International Communication) has been certified as a scholarship student of the HUMAP International Student Exchange Promotion System.

Q: Why did you come to Japan?

A: I like watching Japanese music and anime, so I wanted to study more.I especially love Ayumi Hamasaki, and learned the pronunciation from her songs.I majored in Japanese at university in Indonesia, and decided to study in Japan because I wanted to speak Japanese every day.Now, thanks to studying abroad, I can study Japanese even more.

Q : What do you want to do while studying in Japan?

A: I want to study Japanese more by talking with Japanese people.Also, I would like to have a part-time job and study the work environment and Japanese for work.Kansai dialect is difficult, but interesting.I also like history, so I would like to visit Kyoto.The Japanese food I ate in Indonesia tasted different from the food I ate in Japan.I want to remember how to cook.I want to get along better with Japanese people and other international students.

HUMAP (Humap: Hyogo-Asia Pacific Inter-University Exchange Network) deepens exchanges between universities in Hyogo Prefecture and universities in the Asia-Pacific region, improves the level of education and research in the region, and promotes future development.
