Congratulations! We are pleased to inform you that your abstract has been accepted by our review team as a poster presentation at the 33rd ICM Triennial Congress, which is being held in Bali, Indonesia, 11 - 14 June 2023.
I received an email notifying me that my abstract was accepted as a poster presentation in the field (knowledge and experience) I applied for as a result of the screening team reviewing my abstract.
Next, I registered online and paid the registration fee (early registration $850 (approximately 12 yen in Japanese yen), stating that I was willing to make a presentation.

In addition, an email was sent with the template and procedure for creating a profile and photo poster.At this conference, we were instructed to prepare posters in A0-A1 size, but there was also a printing service available at the conference venue.Of course, a fee of about 5000 yen will be collected in Japanese yen.
In May 2023, I received an email regarding my visa application and corona vaccination certificate (for foreign countries), so I prepared.
From here, we proceeded with reservations for direct flights, transfers, hotels, etc. for departure from Indonesia (Bali).
State of the venue
Security was very tight at the venue, and only authorized personnel were allowed inside.This is because the precious life was stolen by the bomb terrorism before.Many midwives from all over the world participated and had various discussions such as issues facing the world and their own research.My presentation was Periodontal Disease Symptoms and Consultation Behavior of Pregnant Women in Japan.
In Japan, there is a system that allows pregnant women to receive dental examinations free of charge.I expected that pregnant women were hesitant to see a doctor during the corona sickness, but rather than being worried about the infection of the corona sickness, I was worried about X-ray exposure to the fetus at the medical facility and anxiety. It turns out that many mothers think that they should go see a doctor after their child is born.We, midwives, announced that periodontal disease can cause premature birth, that nutrition should start from the mouth, and that it is necessary to support pregnant women so that they can take health actions to maintain good oral health. Did.
