① What is the name of your university, your department and your major in your home country?

CHN: Foreign language school, Japanese language industry.

② Tell us about what you usually do in your pastime.

ENG: I play volleyball, badminton, basketball, KIN-BALL, etc. with my friends. ③ What are the courses you are taking now at the Department of Global Communication?

CHN: Japanese pop culture, business Japanese, writing, academics, etc.

ENG:Currently, I am studying Japanese pop culture and various Japanese subjects.

④ If someone would like to visit your hometown or province, what food would you recommend he/she should try.

CHN: We recommend grilled skewers, hot and cold, steamed meat, ice pears, ice persimmons, iron grills.

ENG: There are many. Among those I would like to recommend are skewers (barbecue), warm noodles, cold noodles, pot-packed meat, frozen pears, frozen persimmons.

⑤ How about any local activity to do in your hometown or province?

⑥ Tell us why you have decided to study in Japan?

CHN: I'm the reason why I've been to Japan before (mainly in Kansai, after Tokyo).During my travels, I had a friendly relationship with Japan.This is the time when I started learning Japanese.After watching Japanese cartoons, I started to enjoy the curiosity of Japanese culture.After choosing a Japanese language course at a university, studying at a Japanese language school, starting to meet, dreaming, dreaming, living in Japan is like a child.The second time I had a chance to meet in Japan, I thought I would have to apply for the exam, and I was really accepted.I like Japan, but I have a real life in Japan, curiosity, imagination, school language, I need a better language environment and talent, and more understanding of Japanese culture.

ENG:I traveled to Japan before (mainly in Kansai area, then Tokyo), and I was deeply attracted by the small alleys, buildings, and convenient facilities. The Japanese friends I made during the trip were very friendly. Japanese at the time, so we had some language problems. We couldn't fully express our thoughts or understand each other's thoughts. The start of my learning Japanese began at this time. After returning to China, I started watching Japanese anime, and I gradually became curious about what Japanese culture is like, and what it would be like to make friends with Japanese people. I chose Japanese as a major in university. After learning Japanese, I began to dream and fantasize about what it would be like to live in Japan.When I was in my sophomore year,I had the opportunity to be an exchange student in Japan.I thought about applying and giving it a try.In fact,I prepared very seriously.I just like Japan,but I have never really lived in Japan. I am curious and want to travel here. To learn the language, I still need a better language environment to learn better and understand more about Japanese culture.

⑦ What would you like to see and do while in Japan?

CHN: I want to participate in various Japanese festivals, meet more interesting friends (undivided nations), learn, experience different cultures.

ENG:I want to participate in various festivals in Japan, make more interesting friends (regardless of country), learn and experience the cultures of various countries.

⑧ What is your career goal after graduation?

CHN: We can work at a Japanese company, or at a school.

ENG: I may go back to my country to work at a Japanese company, or to work at a school.

⑨ In order to learn and enjoy, what is your advice to Japanese students who would like to visit and study in your country?

CHN: The most important thing is self-confidence, mutual self-confidence and good integration into the new environment, open mind, feeling, experience.Friends are very important.

ENG:The most important thing is to have confidence in yourself, believe that you can integrate into the new environment well, calm down, feel and experience. Making friends is also very important. Making friends will help you integrate into the new environment faster and more effectively.
