Thoughts on studying abroad and what you want to achieve

Before coming to Japan, I was interested in Japanese culture. So I decided to study abroad in Japan to study Japanese and understand Japan.Originally, I thought the purpose of studying abroad was only to improve my language skills. However, studying abroad allows me to experience many new things and gain a variety of experiences, more than I had imagined.

After coming to Japan, I started working part-time at a restaurant for the first time.Unlike the Japanese I learned at a Japanese language school, I learned daily conversations with staff and conversations with customers.Even if you study Japanese in your own country, I don't think you will be able to learn this easily. After entering university, I made many friends not only from Japan but also from other countries, and became interested in foreign cultures. In university class group work, I not only consulted on specialized knowledge, but also came to understand the different cultures of each country.I think this kind of thing is worth studying abroad for me.In addition, I consider studying abroad as an opportunity to practice autonomy. While attending college, I earned money through part-time jobs and paid part of my living expenses by myself. Also, when I was in Japan, I traveled with my friends during the holidays.I have stepped into many new places. The trip that left the biggest impression on me was climbing to the top of Mt. Fuji, and I think I overcame my limits. In other words, studying abroad is not just about learning a language, it's also a great way to experience a new country.

Since I am majoring in management and marketing, after graduating from university, I would like to find a job where I can make use of my experiences and studies, and find a job at a company that has a strong relationship between Japan and Vietnam.Recently, due to the outline and development prospects of the relationship between Japan and Vietnam, human resources are needed. Therefore, I would like to utilize not only my specialized knowledge but also my future work in order to understand the markets and different cultures of both countries. It may be a small force, but I hope to become a bridge between Japan and Vietnam.

Last but not least, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the people who have supported us.

The Sayoko Teraura Memorial Scholarship Foundation allows students from Japan to study abroad at high schools, colleges of technology, universities, graduate schools, or other local language schools (hereinafter referred to as "universities, etc.") attended on the premise of admission to such schools. Students and students, as well as students and students studying abroad at Japanese universities, etc.,The purpose of this scholarship is to contribute to the development of meaningful human resources and the promotion of education by providing scholarships to excellent students who are recognized to have financial difficulty in paying their tuition fees.
