On June 6th (Wednesday) during the lunch break and third period, we held an event at the Kobe Yamate Campus and the Amagasaki Campus where international students and Japanese students could casually interact while eating hot dogs. .

This event is a networking event held with the purpose of "Let's deepen exchanges between international students and Japanese students! International students who are in trouble can do this!"There were many exchange students this year, and many international and Japanese students participated.

The language used was Japanese only, and the participants took out question cards from the question boxes and asked each other questions and answers, which was a great success. If you couldn't participate this time, please join us next time and make friends that transcend nationalities.

In the future, we plan to launch a new circle for the purpose of exchange between international students and Japanese students. We will start to deepen exchanges.Don't miss the future movements!

Comment from Moe Nishida (2nd year, Faculty of Education, Department of Education and Welfare)

This time, I participated in the event for the first time through an introduction from my advisor, Dr. Baba.I have been interested in overseas since I was a high school student, and when I was looking for a university to go to, I came to the open campus of Kansai University of International Studies. bottom.

After interacting with international students for the first time, I realized that Japanese and Chinese are similar, and that we can understand each other more than English. Also, I would like to do my best in English. I was told that there is also an “international student buddy system”, and I would like to interact with more international students in the future.

Ngo KainComment from Mr. (Faculty of Business Administration Department 4Year)

I entered Kansai University of International Studies as a transfer student during the COVID-XNUMX crisis, so I usually don't have many opportunities to interact directly with Japanese students.I was able to communicate with Japanese students by sharing various topics.I would like to participate in such an event again.

Comment from Maho Fujimoto (Student PR Staff, Faculty of International Communication, Department of English Communication, 4th Year)

I participated in a lively event for the first time in a long time beyond the corona misfortune.I learned that international students of various nationalities belonged to each faculty, and it was a very meaningful event because exchanges beyond the faculty are quite rare.I hope that the circle of students who are already on good terms with each other and the students who started to interact with each other through this event will expand and become more connected.

In fact, I also belong to the English Communication Department, so there are many classes with international students. The international students helped me a lot, and the international students asked me if there was anything I didn't understand about Japan.I think it will be a very good experience not only for international exchange, but also for being able to work hard with students of different nationalities through classes and everyday life. Please broaden your future student life, horizons and possibilities.
