In Physical Education Instruction I, the goal is to "enhance motor skills in various fields through cooperative learning with peers, and to learn practically how fun physical education learning should be in elementary school, alleviating anxiety."This time, I will tell you about the "introduction of play" that was developed in the second half of the class.
The second half of Physical Education I is structured so that students actively participate in presenting assignments. With the image of "a teacher who teaches the lower grades of elementary school", we divided into groups and gave presentations on play.At first, it seemed that the members of the group were discussing various issues such as "What kind of play should we make?"After a while, in order to cooperate with each other in each group and create fun play, we gathered during lunch break and class free time to gather information, gather materials to use for play, and make preparations.
The first-year students had little experience standing in front of the class and making presentations. Some groups were able to explain the class well, while others were frustrated because they were unable to explain the class. On the class review sheet (Daifukucho), I was impressed by the fact that the students actively learned from their mistakes and the activities of other groups, such as, "I made a mistake in the explanation, but I want to gather in groups and have a reflection meeting so that I can connect to the next time."Based on this experience, I would like you to enrich experiential learning such as practical training, internships, and service learning.

Through the “introduction to play”, it was possible to see how the students who attended the class and the SAs who supported the class learned together.
