This time, our university has entrusted the disposal and recycling of PCs that are no longer needed on campus to the ``B-type office supporting continued employment, Brave Workshop (Sakai-ku, Sakai-shi, Osaka)'' through the ``Japan PCB network''. .

Employment continuation support type B establishments are establishments that provide a place to work for those who find it difficult to work at a general company, etc., and provide training necessary to improve intelligence and ability.

This time, we entrusted the work to dismantle and separate the used PCs and recycle them.On the day of the event, a worker from the workshop visited our university, took out a hard disk containing personal information from a computer on campus, destroyed it, and then brought it back to the workshop.

Computers brought back to the work site are carefully dismantled and sorted by handicapped meisters, and then recycled as recyclable resources. The profits obtained from recycling are reflected in the labor costs of residents. This will lead to employment support for people with disabilities.

We will continue to make efforts like this in order to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
