On October 2023, 10 (Sunday), the "Regular General Meeting of the Alumni Association" and "Homecoming Day" were held at Miki Campus.The day was held at the same time as our university's university festival, ``Ajian Festival,'' and was an opportunity for graduates, their families, faculty and staff to gather together and deepen interactions.
Alumni Association General Meeting
The general meeting was held from 11:2024 a.m., and Chairman Fukunaga gave a speech, stating that the alumni association will work together to provide support for the 100th anniversary of its founding in XNUMX.
Homecoming day
Approximately 40 people in total gathered for Homecoming Day, including graduates of Kansai Jogakuin Junior College and Kansai International University, their families, and our university faculty and staff.After the opening address by President Atsushi Hamana, in which the university's latest initiatives and achievements were communicated, a bronze medal was presented to honor the achievements of the graduates.The recipient of this honor was Ashita Asita (7th class student) of the Department of Behavior, Faculty of Human Sciences, Kansai International University, and the university expressed its praise and gratitude to the graduates.
Afterwards, a buffet party (social gathering) was held, which was a great opportunity to achieve the project's purpose of exchanging information among alumni through frank interaction among the participants.
We are planning to hold Homecoming Days in the future that will allow even more alumni to participate.
