1st Week: I had a lot to learn in my first week in Vietnam, but I managed to establish some habits that will enable me to live in Vietnam. I learned how to throw away garbage, do laundry, lock the door, and many other things. Also, as for the classes, I have only taken about 2 classes, but will try to earn credits. The biggest problem I have had is talking to people who only spoke Vietnamese. I major in Vietnamese, but when I speak with the native speakers, I can hardly understand them. Therefore, I have to use gestures and a translator. I would like to study Vietnamese more in order to be able to successfully communicate with the locals in the future.
