The contest was conducted by JR East Japan Planning Co., Ltd. and JR East Japan Planning Co., Ltd.JTBWith the support of Japan Airlines Co., Ltd., and East Japan Railway Company, the theme was ``The role of an international university in coexistence with the local community: Creating value for tourism business in regional development.''Aiming to practice sustainable business and create a new tourism industry, students from member universities utilize their own knowledge and local characteristics to develop business ideas that are novel, profitable, logical, compatible with the region, and connected. They competed on the basis of potential evaluation criteria.

From our university, Asuka Uchida, a second-year student in the Department of Tourism, was selected through an internal selection process and gave a presentation on the theme of ``Retreat Island Awaji: A healing journey for adult women that can be enjoyed with all five senses - Aiming for wellbeing'', and came in a close second place.
