“English Conversation Super Drill for Communication” co-authored by me and Sachiko Nakamura (Lecturer at Tohoku University Advanced Liberal Arts Education and Student Support Organization) English Hanon/“Phrase Edition” isEnglish Coaching Award 2023(https://www.jelcaaward.com Sponsored by the Japan English Coaching Association, sponsored by Nihon Keizai Shimbun and IIBC) won the grand prize in the book category.
The “English Hanon” series has sold over 2021 copies since its publication in 13, and the “Phrase Edition” that won the grand prize this time is the fourth work.The selection committee includes Professor Tatsuya Nakata (Professor, Rikkyo University), a leading expert on second language acquisition theory in Japan, and I feel truly honored and grateful for the support of English learners and students across Japan. I am aware of the impact this will have on educators and feel a great responsibility.
Currently, as the director of the foreign language education department at the Higher Education Research and Development Center, I am working on developing curriculum and teaching materials for basic English education, which will begin operation in 2025. We are determined to create something groundbreaking. Please look forward to it.
