
Saturday, December 12nd at our university's Amagasaki campus.Movie “Dream Elementary School”through the screening ofSeminarMore than 60 people participated, including local families, elementary school teachers, and students.
This documentary depicts the educational practices of a public elementary school that introduces experiential classes, and shows how all children, including those in special needs education and those who have difficulty controlling their emotions, learn in the same classroom, and how children grow. The process, teachers' worries and joys are realistically depicted.

After the screening, a workshop for participants was also held.In this workshop, participants will reaffirm their childhood dreams and explore the extent to which they are currently being realized by asking the question, "What would you want to achieve if you had everything you need?" I set a time.Through both of these self-exploration workshops, the participants themselves were able to reaffirm new perspectives and ways of thinking, deepening their understanding of the various educational issues surrounding them, and providing an opportunity to search for solutions.


At the final exchange of opinions, new perspectives and changes in awareness about education were observed from students aiming to become elementary school or kindergarten teachers, local residents, and children's center staff.Specifically, the importance of freedom in education, the diversity of educational methods, the value of learning from children, the need to support young people, respect for children's autonomy, education that respects individuality, and education that fosters compassion.
