Comments from Mr. Hohein (exchange student from Shomei University to the Department of Global Communication, Faculty of International Communication)
At Kansai International University, I was able to experience various presentations in addition to assigned presentations, and was able to develop confidence in presentations. She also took English classes and was able to greatly improve her English skills. She was able to learn about the Japanese way of thinking while interacting with many Japanese people. Japan has a unique culture that is similar to, but different from, Korea, and what impressed me most was its "individuality."
Comment from Mr. Rocaro (exchange student from Jiangsu Ocean University to the Department of Global Communication, Faculty of International Communication)
While studying abroad, I learned to face myself. I was able to live alone and become independent. In class, you can learn not only specialized knowledge but also various fields, and I will never stop thinking about it. I also learned the strength to face challenges and realized that if I do my best, I can overcome them.
Comments from exchange student Sae Yoshida (4th year, Department of Sociology, Faculty of Sociology)
Immediately after studying abroad at Nintoku University, I was worried about whether I would be able to survive because I could not understand the language, but my friends who had come to study abroad at Kansai International University gave me a lot of support, and I was able to overcome this. My language skills improved more than I expected, and thanks to this, I was much more motivated to attend classes and was able to tackle the exams with great enthusiasm. After returning to Japan, I would like to do activities that will help people who are aiming to study abroad. I feel that I was able to learn Korean techniques that I can use in my future Japanese entertainment-related and broadcasting-related jobs. In the future, I would like to maintain and improve my language skills and work hard to find a job where I can utilize my experience in Korea.
