On Sunday, January 2024, 1, the "21rd National Exchange Meeting for High School Entrance and Career Guidance Organizers in Kansai" was held at Kansai International University Kobe Yamate Campus Building 3.

A total of 140 people, including those involved in supporting the education and career paths of children connected to foreign countries, and those interested in these issues, participated both in-person and online.


We will share issues such as the rapid increase in the number of students going abroad who need Japanese language instruction, inadequate educational security, disparities between local governments, and the number of students who are giving up on going to high school, and introduce case studies to find solutions. Discussions were held through keynote speeches and breakout sessions. It became an important forum for lively exchange of opinions regarding the advancement of children with ties to foreign countries, the state of Japanese language education in high schools, and the security of career paths after graduation.
