As part of our global study program, we have received a follow-up report from a Faculty of Education student who is providing learning support at an elementary school in Cambodia.

Activities at an elementary school in Phnom Penh were a great success, with students inventing ways to teach calligraphy and lessons using dry ice every day. As students bid farewell to their children on the day of study abroad, they presented wall clocks to the elementary school as a token of their gratitude.

We also deepened our friendships with students from our partner school, Norton University, and at a farewell party held at Norton University, we looked back on the fun times we had in Phnom Penh.

The next study destination is Siem Reap (nearby the Angkor ruins). The purpose of global studies at our university is to learn about different cultures, historical backgrounds, and educational circumstances, and to practice contributing activities based on these. This experience will be a great opportunity for the students to develop themselves and expand their international perspective.
*Norton University: Founded in 1997, it is the first private university in Cambodia with a campus in Phnom Penh.
