Currently, the Mukuta seminar in the Department of Education and Welfare, Faculty of Education, has launched a project to develop emergency food products using vegetables from Amagasaki City.
Mr. Shimizu of Tamba Rojibeji visited us this time as well, and in addition to discussing the concepts and process necessary for product development, we also held a tasting session of emergency food. One student commented, ``The image of emergency food has changed.'' The students also learned various things from the tasting session, including that freeze-dried food can be eaten as is, like sweets, and that it is very delicious.
