The Criminal Psychology Study Group participated in the "Brighter Society Movement" in Chuo Ward, Kobe.

On Sunday, July 2024, 7, five students from the Criminal Psychology Study Group participated in the "Brighter Society Movement" held in Motomachi Shopping Street.

The Bright Society Movement is a nationwide awareness-raising campaign aimed at preventing crime and helping those who have committed crimes to get back on their feet, with the aim of building safe, secure local communities free of delinquency.
This campaign was initiated by the Ministry of Justice and has been carried out since 1951 (Showa 26), and this year marks its 74th anniversary.
To coincide with the "Bright Society Movement" emphasis month in July, a public relations parade was held in Kobe Motomachi Shopping Street, featuring a performance by the Hyogo Prefectural Police Band and participation from probation officers, police, local cooperating organizations, and local junior and senior high school students.
Students also marched through the shopping district holding flags and handing out awareness fans.

By participating in the "Brighter Society Movement," the students were able to not only learn about crime prevention and rehabilitation in a classroom setting, but also had a valuable opportunity to take action and reconsider the importance of raising awareness and understanding the community.
