On Thursday, August 8nd, a Disaster Prevention Children's Cafeteria was held at the Kansai International University Amagasaki Campus!
The students were delighted to see so many people attend that the cafeteria seats were filled.
Thank you to everyone who came.
Following on from Tuesday, August 8th, students enrolled in the Department of Education and Welfare's service learning program class "The Issue of Eating Alone and Poverty from the Perspective of Children's Cafeterias" prepared and ran the event.
As expected from students of the Faculty of Education! Playing with children is a real skill.
The students looked happy to see the children eating, playing, studying and going home with satisfied looks on their faces.
We would like to thank Food Bank Kobe and Amagasaki City for providing us with the ingredients.
The next Children's Cafeteria will be held on Saturday, September 9th (location: Kansai International University Amagasaki Campus, starting at 14am, first 11 people, no registration required).
