Hamana Yamate Gakuin celebrates its 2024th anniversary this year, 100.
To commemorate this, a commemorative ceremony and celebration was held at the Owada Room of the Kobe Portpia Hotel on Saturday, September 2024, 9, with over 21 guests in attendance.
The ceremony began with an opening address by Director Hirai Masaaki (Principal of Kobe Yamate Girls' Junior and Senior High School) and an address by Chairman Hamana Atsushi (President of Kansai International University).
A video entitled "The 100-Year Journey of the Academy" was shown, followed by congratulatory speeches from guests Mr. Akio Fujiwara (Deputy Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology), Mr. Yoshiaki Obara (Chairman of the Japan Association of Private Universities), Mr. Hiromitsu Inagi (Acting Governor of Hyogo Prefecture), Mr. Yoshizo Hisamoto (Mayor of Kobe City), and Mr. Magohiro Wada (Chairman of the Hyogo Prefectural Private Junior and Senior High School Association).

Mr. Kizo Hisamoto (Mayor of Kobe City)After introductions of the many distinguished guests, Chairman Hamana Atsushi presented a letter of appreciation to Mr. Saito Tomio (former Vice Governor of Hyogo Prefecture), who was instrumental in leading the corporate merger.
The celebration that followed began with congratulatory speeches by the guests and then a kagami-biraki ceremony by the distinguished guests.
The celebration proceeded in a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere from start to finish.
