After an explanation of how the presentation session would proceed, the 66 students were divided into six programs based on the country of their study abroad, and gave presentations on their activities, research results, and learning outcomes in three sessions each, with participants rotating in and out of each group.

Each program focused on a different theme, and the students spoke in detail about their own experiences, the issues that emerged from their research, and the solutions they have implemented. The poster presentations, which allowed them to communicate their learning outcomes concisely and clearly, often used flow charts depicting the process of solving the issues, graphs showing the results of their research, and photos and videos from the field, and it was clear that the students had put in a lot of effort and enthusiasm to communicate their learning to the fullest extent possible.

In the comments after the presentations, many of the participating teachers commented that they felt the students had grown, such as by listening to the presentation reports on global studies and gaining experience, and by finding answers from their own experiences without relying on teachers during the Q&A session after the presentation. Finally, Dean Muneta Yoshifumi of the School of International Communication commented that, although there has been a growing trend towards inward-looking attitudes recently, it is important for students to take on the challenge of and experience overseas programs through global studies.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our overseas partner universities and cooperating institutions both in Japan and overseas for their cooperation in holding this presentation session. We hope that you will continue to provide us with guidance in implementing our future programs.
