[Faculty of Education] A smartphone class will be held for residents of the "Pastoral Amagasaki" seminar PBL for third-year students majoring in welfare studies!

11Month12On Tuesday, a "Smartphone Class" was held by a third-year seminar student majoring in Welfare Studies at the Kansai International University's Amagasaki campus!

We were visited by residents of Pastoral Amagasaki, a care home for the elderly, with whom we have had some contact for some time.

The theme of this time is "QRIt was about reading the code.

Students were asked to use their smartphones to study the material they had prepared.QRHow to read the codeQRHe explained topics such as "the benefits of using the code and things to be careful about" and "how to use it in times of disaster."

We also practiced reading the words, and by the time everyone left, they had completely mastered it!

The students were able to clearly communicate to the elderly people the content that they had spent so much time preparing, and they seemed to have a great sense of accomplishment when they went home satisfied.

 

On the day, students from Oda Junior High School, who are coming to the university for work experience as part of the "Try-it Week",

Welfare Studies Major 3rd Year SeminarPBLWe are planning to hold "Disaster Prevention Smartphone" and "Disaster Prevention Salon" activities based on the theme of "creating a safe community where no one is left behind even in the event of a disaster."

"Disaster Prevention Smartphone" holds "Smartphone Classes" for residents of Pastoral Amagasaki to help them make use of smartphones in the event of a disaster.
