Professor Masakazu Hyakutei of the Faculty of Business Administration will be speaking at the symposium of the Japan Association for Second Language Acquisition (JASLA) Annual Conference

2024Years12Month14.15Second Language Acquisition Research Meeting to be held on theJASLAProfessor Masakazu Baekje from the Faculty of Business Administration was invited to be one of the speakers at the symposium at the annual conference of the Japan Society for Business Administration.JASLA The1993It was founded in by researchers interested in second language acquisition research in the field of Japanese language education.1997In the year,JASLAThe journal "Research on the Acquisition of Japanese as a Second Language" was launched, and the annual conference will be held this year.35Since being held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic, in recent years the event has been held every other year, face-to-face and online, and this year it will be held online.

Professor Masakazu Baekje is a professor of task-based language teaching (Task-Based Language Teaching,TBLTSince he was a professor at Cardiff University in the UK, he has been invited as a speaker at universities and conferences both in Japan and abroad as a specialist in "responsive input (Responsive inputProfessor Baekje will present a new concept called "sociocultural second language learning" and make proposals about sociocultural second language learning.JASLAThis is not a membership-based (fee-based) group, but anyone can participate, so students who are interested in second language education and acquisition research are encouraged to join.
