1Month21On Tuesday2024Welfare Studies Major for the Year3Yearly seminarPBLWe held an activity report meeting, inviting stakeholders to discuss our activities.

Welfare Studies Major 3rd Year SeminarPBL(Problem-based learningIn the problem-solving learning program, the theme was "creating a safe community where no one is left behind even in the event of a disaster," and activities were carried out using "disaster prevention smartphones" and "disaster prevention salons."1It has been carried out over the course of a year.
Disaster Prevention Smartphone held a smartphone class for residents of Pastoral Amagasaki to help them use smartphones in the event of a disaster.
The "Disaster Prevention Salon" was planned to provide a space where local residents could have fun discussing disaster prevention in their daily lives.
The results of these learnings were presented in a presentation format to the stakeholders who had helped us.
They listened to presentations by teams other than those who cooperated with us and provided advice that will help us develop our future activities.
The students spoke with satisfaction, saying, "Through preparing for the presentation, we were able to reflect on our activities so far and gain new insights," and "It was the first time we presented the results of our activities so far in front of stakeholders. We were nervous, but it was a good opportunity for us to grow significantly."
Finally, the seminar instructor concluded the session by thanking the stakeholders and giving an encouraging overall review to the students. The students gained a new realization that their efforts have led to activities for the benefit of society and that they themselves are useful to society.
We would like to once again express our gratitude to Amagasaki City Hall and Pastoral Amagasaki for their cooperation in our activities.
